It does have a splash pad for kids as well as two water slides in the ocean and a ropes obstacle course in the ocean. I’ve seen cabanas as low as $299 and as high as $1700 for an overwater cabana. Cabana prices vary widely based on season, ship and availability. I was able to reserve a South Beach cabana over a year and a half before our next cruise. Bookings are available online well in advance on a first-come, first-served basis. Beverage service is provided, but food service is not.ĬocoCay has over 100 cabanas, daybeds and bungalows spread out over various parts of the island. Each cabana also comes with float rental and bike rental. The cost includes fruit and snacks (chips and granola bars) as well as bottled water and soft drinks. Outside, cabanas have a shower and hammock. Cabanas include seating, refrigerator, safe, ceiling fan, towels, magazines and sunscreen. Castaway Cay also has four cabanas at the adults-only beach for $429. One of these cabanas fits 10-16 people at a cost of $966. The cabanas fit 6-10 people and cost $671 in the winter and $727 in the summer. Concierge guests get first priority to reserve cabanas, and it is nearly impossible to reserve one unless you are concierge. All beaches are for all ages, but Coco Beach Club has an extra charge. Almost the entire island is developed after the recent “Perfect Day at CocoCay” $250 million renovation. CocoCay is significantly smaller than Castaway Cay at one kilometer wide and 183 meters long. Royal Caribbean’s CocoCay is located nearby in the Berry Islands. Only 55 acres are developed, while the rest of the island is untouched. The island is 1000 acres, or about three miles long and two miles wide. Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Cay is located near Abaco.
